We will discuss your preferred colours, mood and birthday style before the session so the setup feels personal to your celebration.
Parents arrange the child’s cake smash outfit and the cake. We are happy to guide you on a cake style and colours that will work well with the chosen setup. Please bring the cake and your child’s selected outfit on the day of the session.

The Standard package is ideal for a short birthday session with one setup, while the Essential package gives you more time and an additional setup. The Premium package is designed for a fuller celebration, with multiple setups, keepsake products, a reel video, a slideshow video and a full family setup.

The Best Age for a Cake Smash or Pre-Birthday Photoshoot
For a first birthday celebration, most families plan their pre-birthday or cake smash photoshoot when their baby is around 10 to 12 months old. We recommend booking the session around one month before the birthday, so there is enough time to plan the preferred setup and receive the final photographs before the celebration.
Pre-birthday sessions are not limited to a first birthday. We can also plan a fun themed portrait session for a second birthday or another special milestone.
Can Parents and Siblings Be Included?
Yes. Family photographs make this milestone even more meaningful. The Premium pre-birthday package includes one full family setup, so we can capture mother and baby, father and baby, parents with baby, and sibling photographs where applicable.
For Standard and Essential packages, you can add a family setup for ₹2,500. The family add-on includes five additional edited photographs. Please let us know while booking so we can plan the timing and setup for everyone comfortably.
How to Prepare Your Baby for a Cake Smash
A little preparation can help your baby enjoy the cake smash experience. A few days before the session, let your child try a small pastry or a little cake so they can become familiar with the texture. This can make the experience feel less new on the day of the shoot.
Please plan your baby’s nap and feed around the booked slot as much as possible. Bring spare clothes, cleaning wipes, water and familiar snacks. Most importantly, arrive with a relaxed mindset—curious hands, little pauses and even a little mess are all part of the fun.

The number of edited and unedited selection images depends on your chosen package. Unedited selection images are provided on the fourth day after the session. Your selected high-resolution retouched images are delivered within 7–10 days after photo selection. Frames, videos, albums and prints, where included, are delivered within 10–14 days after the edited photographs are delivered.
